Meet Yancy & Yancy /Snow on the Pyramid.

 Cecil and I were in Memphis about three years ago when it snowed in February.  We were walking (because it was too risky to drive) around downtown and we noticed that the Pyramid was covered in snow.  For those who do not know Memphis...we have a glass and steel pyramid.  We remarked "wow..look at that the pyramid is covered in snow" and it hit us how odd that would sound if one did not know we were talking about Memphis and not Egypt.  So we walked to Denny's for an early breakfast and wrote this song on a napkin.

The point of the song is;  sometimes the most unlikely things happen.

Explanation of references;

The neon river--refers to the time I was flying to England and we were above the clouds at night and all of a sudden we flew above the Aurora Borealis pulsating through the clouds.

The Speechless Angel;  I had a cousin who had a child who was born with multiple birth defects.  She was speechless.  But when her mother put on the Gather Gospel Hour on T.V.  This little girl would raise her hands and say, "Halleluiah".

Swimming in volcano;  I (Linda) lived in the Republic of Panama for a couple of years and I used to swim at a beach where the ocean had carved it's way into the mouth of an extinct volcano.

Dancing with Maggy May. --I danced with Rod Stewart once when he was singing Maggy May.

And the most unlikely but true of all...I found the love of my life at the age of 40.

Here is an example of the weather condition that we refer to as "The devil whipping his wife"   Now you know!

I'll pick Cotton written by Linda Yancy

Linda wrote this song after I (Cecil)  told her a story about a man who works in the Cotton Industry who's name is Cotton!  She started playing with the thought of that and came up with this song.  Hope you folks enjoy!
