Husband and wife duo Linda and Cecil Yancy have performed music together for over a decade, having met on the banks of the Tennessee River. On their first date, Linda brought her guitar and the pair spent the entire evening singing. Since then, the music hasn't stopped with Yancy & Yancy performing in such venues as the Memphis Zoo, the Memphis Farmers Market, the Cooper-Young Festival, The Strand, Winestock, International Folk Festival 2012, Levitt Shell, South Main Trolley Nights, Otherlands and at various regional festivals and churches.
